Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. South of the border they do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but thanks to our ex-pat friends we will be sharing turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie and friendship tomorrow night. Since we have American television programming we will even be able to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
In honor of the holiday, Jackson's class had a Thanksgiving play. I guess because there is a lot of American children attending the school they recognize the holiday and get tomorrow and Friday off of classes as well. It was funny today seeing all the Mexican children pronouncing their "Five Little Turkeys" song and saying what they were thankful for (in English). Most of the kids were thankful for their mom or dad or their families. So sweet. My kid? Click below to hear what he was most thankful for...
That's our boy. We sure are proud of him.
Happy Thanksgiving to you wherever you are and remember to count your blessings and give thanks....even if it is only for a basketball.
